18.08.05 Pender Island
It was a lovely sunny day to go visit one of the beautiful gulf Islands. Attending the 2017 Parks Canada Pender Island BioBlitz gave a glimpse into the diverse ecology of the Island. Juliet and I hiked around Greenburn Lake in search of a range of species, including dragonflies and damselflies. Then we were off to Brooks Point Regional Park to look for seaside lichens. Here are a few of the photos from the day.
